Friendship circle is brilliant in so many ways. Many people think it's just a great fundraising structure...which it is. It does also however attract people to Yiddishkeit through appealing to their basic human attraction to kindness and of course the connection to religion can then later me made, which makes it a great kiruv tool as well. We can (and should,)however, also just look at the whole thing at face value. Teaching kids to help others and look beyond the outer cover. Any way you slice it, good stuff.
